My name is Shamsideen Adedoyin Olasunkanmi Kasumu,living at Ibeshe,within Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA. I was born in Lagos and have been a resident of Ikorodu for over 22 years.
I am an alumnus of St Finbarr’s College, University of Lagos and University of Manchester, institute of Science and Technology(UMIST),Manchester, England.
I was a very active student union activist, member of parliament of the University of Lagos, Student Union Government and president of the Science Students Association, for an unprecedented two consecutive sessions .
I am a well groomed chartered accountant and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ICAN), IFRS expert and an alumnus of Deloitte, the leading accountancy and consulting firm in the world. I am a certified financial consultant, astute auditor and risk analyst, with vast professional experience in consulting, audit and banking, spanning several years and various blue chip organisations.
My banking industry experience spanned several years and I worked with various banks contributing immensely to the strengthening of the various units including Operations, Risk Management, Financial Control, Audit and Inspection.
As ERM & Risk Based Audit trainer, I had guided many managers and staff of various organisations, including government entities such as the Central Bank of Liberia, to facilitate the implementation of an effective enterprise risk management and risk based internal auditing framework.
I am currently the CEO at Deeno Consulting, a widower with lovely children, all of whom were born at the general hospital, Ikorodu.
